International Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting
Since the publication of KPMG's 2002 International Survey on Corporate Sustainability Reporting there has been a significant change in the number, scope and quality of reports produced by companies. The KPMG International Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting 2005, shows that reporting has been steadily rising since 1993 and has increased substantially in the past three years, with 52 percent of the 250 largest companies now issuing separate reports, up nine percentage points from 2002. A dramatic change has been the type of CR reporting which has changed from purely environmental reporting up until 1999 to sustainability (social, environmental and economic) since 2002.
