Executives share ideas and network at the 2006 Mining Executive Share Forum
Executives from some of North America’s leading mining companies gathered in Toronto on September 18 & 19, for KPMG’s 2nd Annual Mining Executive Share Forum. The event offered participants the opportunity to hear from guest speakers and interact with their mining industry peers.
“Through a combination of panel discussions and breakout sessions the attendees were able to learn about technical updates and also gain new insight and knowledge into issues that are common throughout the industry,” says Lee Hodgkinson, who is KPMG’s Global Mining Leader – Energy and Natural Resources.
“We want the Forum to provide the attendees with a good learning experience, and giving them ample time for discussion is part of that. They seem to really appreciate the opportunity to network because they don’t often get the chance to meet and exchange ideas with their industry peers,” says mining industry Partner Ken McKay, who led the Canadian organizing team with Lee.
